S&C Slatter was selected to deliver an outstanding new build development of the sports centre facilities and infrastructure, featuring state of the art artificial turf pitches for Football & Rugby and Hockey & Lacrosse, together with tarmacadam Tennis/Netball courts and a Multi-use Games Area.
The infrastructure works centred on improving vehicular access to the site and formalising parking provision. Slatter Surfacing & Civils completed the new build project, constructing a 41-space macadam car park which is serviced by a new macadam roadway. Macadam perimeter pathways now provide easy transition to an array of external sports pitches and the indoor sports centre building and administration buildings.
The company’s in-house team of surfacing & civils specialists was directed by Contracts Manager David Smith and supported by the Head Office design & operations departments.
